CM Punk Bashes Jeff Hardy's Upcoming DVD

On the last Smackdown Episode, CM Punk commented on Jeff's latest DVD before his match with Matt Hardy:

CM Punk presents a brown bag and says that the contents are a new “socially acceptable” drug that will be hitting the streets this coming Tuesday, December 1 and that it is “more dangerous” than any drugs, tobacco, or alcohol! Punk then presents the new “Jeff Hardy: My Life, My Rules” DVD set! Referring to Jeff Hardy as a “loser”, Punk states that Jeff ruined his life and career by living by “his rules”. Punk then claimed that the last chapter of the DVD is the “most important”, because it is the one where he “retires” Jeff Hardy! Punk then calls the DVD “garbage” and urges everyone to “just say no” to the DVD! Having listened to all he could take, Jeff’s brother Matt Hardy came out and accuses Punk of behaving like a “cult leader”. Matt then says that Jeff is a “free spirit” and that Punk does not “know” Jeff Hardy! Punk then alleges that, if Jeff accepted his help, then Jeff would still be in the WWE. Matt responded by saying that, if Punk would get off of his “soap box”, then Punk might still be the World Heavyweight Champion!

Following their intense words exchanged between the two of them, CM Punk and Matt Hardy faced off in a one-on-one match; a match that ended when Punk’s new “associate”, Luke Gallows, interfered in the contest! Punk & Gallows then perpetrated a vicious assault on Matt Hardy before Gallows left Matt laid out!

Jim Ross has posted a new blog over on his official website this time talking about the Jeff Hardy DVD being released next week, Mark Cuban as the next Guest Raw GM and more.

"The Jeff Hardy DVD comes out next week, a three disc set, and I am anxious to see the completed product. I sat for a long while being interviewed about Jeff and was extremely candid. I am anxious to see how many of my comments actually made the DVD. I expect this DVD to be excellent. Jeff Hardy is and always will be one of my favorite wrestlers. And no, I have no idea if or when he might return to WWE but Jeff Hardy is a star."

Jeff Hardy's Father Talks About Son's Case, JR Mentions Jeff on His Blog

Jeff and Matt Hardy's father, Gilbert Hardy, is painting a picture that Jeff has gone into seclusion during a period of uncertainty on his future after being arrested on September 11 for drug possession.

"He won't talk. He ain't talking to nobody," Mr. Hardy told the Fayetteville Observer newspaper. "He doesn't even want to talk to me."

Jeff is due in court again on December 2 for a probable cause hearing to determine if there is enough evidence for a case to be presented against Hardy or whether the charges he is faced with should be thrown out.

Hardy was scheduled for court on November 4, but the case was continued another month. Hardy did not appear in court, but his attorney represented him and requested the continuance.

The newspaper tried to receive a comment from Jeff, but they said he refused to speak. The paper also reports that Hardy could face six years in prison if convicted of one of the drug trafficking charges.

However, the first concern is whether Hardy's legal situation makes it past the Dec. 2 court date to determine if there is enough evidence to present a formal case against Hardy.

CARTHAGE - A drug trafficking case against a Moore County wrestler was continued Wednesday in District Court.

A probable cause hearing for Jeff Hardy, a professional wrestler from Cameron, has been rescheduled for Dec. 2.

Hardy, 32, did not appear in court. He was represented by his Pinehurst lawyer, Jim Van Camp.

During a recess, Van Camp said Hardy had planned to attend but they had not received a report from the drug lab.

Hardy was arrested Sept.11 during a search of his home. He was charged with several drug offenses, including trafficking in opium and prescription pills, and possession of anabolic steroids.

Officers seized about 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

The estimated street value of the drugs was $2,500.

Hardy is perhaps best known as one-half of the wrestling tag team partnership, The Hardy Boyz. His brother, Matt, makes up the other half.
