Taz mentions how odd it is to see AJ without the belt after over 7 months of seeing it around his waist. As Jeff and Jeff enter the ring Sting and AJ attack them. Jarrett & Hardy turn the tides quickly and Hardy throws AJ over the top to the ramp while Jarrett mounts Sting in the corner and reigns down rights on him. Sting comes back and hits an Atomic Drop on Jarrett! AJ lights Jarrett up with right hands on the ramp while Jarrett nails Sting with an Enziguri in the ring. Tenay mentions how every wrestler in this match is a former World Champion (AJ a multi-time TNA Champ, Jarrett & Sting are former multi-time WCW & TNA Champs, and Hardy a former WWE Champ). Jarrett clotheslines Sting out to the floor while AJ attempts to Suplex Hardy on the ramp, but Hardy blocks it and reverses it! Jarrett brawls with Sting into the crowd and cracks him with a steel chair. Hardy gets a near fall on the ramp while Jarrett gets one in the crowd. This is really hard to keep up with as Tenay mentions that two referees have been assigned to this match. Jarrett attempts to whip Sting into the guardrail but Sting reverses it. Hardy throws AJ back into the ring and puts the boots to him. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate but AJ shoves Hardy into the ropes. Hardy comes off the ropes and hit's a Forearm Smash on AJ as Sting chokes Jarrett in the ropes. AJ comes back with Flair Chops on Hardy and then he tosses Hardy over the top to the floor and then follows it up with a Sliding Dropkick to Jarrett as Sting rolled him in. AJ lights Jarrett up with chops and right hands. AJ attempts to whip Jarrett into the ropes but Jarrett reverses it and locks AJ in a Sleeper! AJ fights it and accidentally hit's the referee as his arms were flailing around and then he low blows Jarrett with a mule kick. Hardy tags Jarrett but the referee didn't see it. AJ throws Jarrett into the heel corner and the heels put the boots to him. Sting tags in and hit's a Suplex on Jarrett for a near fall. Sting throws Jarrett into AJ's foot as AJ had it up on the top rope. Sting attempts to whip Jarrett into the ropes but Jarrett reverses it and both men attempt Running Shoulder Blocks at the same time! The fans are getting behind the faces as both men are down. AJ distracts the referee right as Jarrett reached for the tag so he couldn't see it! Sting tags in AJ and the referee can't stop Hardy from coming in and clothes lining AJ! Hardy hit's a back elbow and then a Sitout Front Suplex! Hardy hit's the Hardyac Arrest in the corner on AJ! Sting looks like he's walking away from the match now! Hardy climbs up to the top but AJ crotches him in the corner and then knocks Hardy off the top. AJ climbs out and drags Hardy onto the ramp as Jarrett is wondering where the hell Sting went. AJ goes for the Styles Clash on the ramp but Hardy blocks it and then throws AJ off the ramp into the guardrail! Jeff dives off the ramp onto AJ! Jarrett finds Sting and they start brawl up the stairs into the rafters! Jeff lays AJ out on a table and then climbs up on the stage! Hardy is setting up a ladder on the stage now as Sting nails Jarrett with a bat! Sting repeatedly nails Jarrett with the bat and covers him for the pin just as Hardy had climbed to the top of the ladder!

The winner of this match faces AJ Styles tonight in the Main Event for the big belt! RVD and Jeff shake hands at the bell and then they circle each other. The fans are really into this. Jeff shoots in for a lockup but RVD sidesteps him. RVD grabs Jeff in a waistlock and as Jeff goes to reverse RVD snaps off a spinning heel kick but Jeff ducks it. They're selling that they know each other well. Jeff and RVD go in for the Greco-Roman Knucklelock and RVD kicks Jeff in the gut and then puts him in a hammerlock. Jeff reverses it and then RVD reverses it right back and goes for a side headlock. Jeff counters it and goes for the Twist of Fate! RVD blocks it and backs away as the fans are getting behind both guys.

Back from commercials RVD has Jeff in a waistlock and Jeff breaks it with a stiff back elbow. Jeff then hit's the Mule Kick that sends RVD through the ropes out to the floor! WTF, commercials again? SERIOUSLY?

Back from commercials RVD drapes Jeff over the guardrail with a front suplex and then he climbs up on the apron and hit's the Corkscrew Legdrop onto Jeff who was hanging on the guardrail! RVD is also busted open from the wound that he suffered last night. During the break Jeff hit RVD with a sliding dropkick to the outside. Back to live action RVD puts Jeff on the apron and then climbs into the ring and hit's a Slingshot into a Leg Drop as Jeff's head was hanging over the apron! RVD climbs to the top and hit's the Flying Cross Body! 1...2...NO Jeff kicks out! RVD hit's a series of forearms on Jeff which seems to wake him up as he answers with right hands. RVD stops him with a series of leg kicks and then RVD attempts to whip Jeff into the corner, but Jeff reverses it. As Jeff charges at him, RVD attempts a clothesline but Jeff ducks and then dropkicks the legs of RVD and RVD crashes into the turnbuckles hard. Jeff grabs RVD's legs and hit's the Leg Drop To the abdomen and then a dropkick followed by a clothesline! 1...2...NO RVD kicks out! Jeff attempts to whip RVD into the corner but RVD reverses it and then goes for the Rolling Monkey Flip, but Jeff catches him with a nice clothesline in midair! 1...2...NO RVD kicks out again! RVD answers back with forearms but Jeff comes right back with right hands. Jeff comes off the ropes and RVD then drops down in a split as Jeff goes over him and then goes for the Monkey Flip, but Jeff grabs him by the legs and actually leg drops the legs of Van Dam into a pin! 1...2...NO and damn that was an awesome near fall! Hardy with another clothesline and another near fall. Jeff climbs to the top but Van Dam crotches Hardy as Taz mentions that Jeff as NEVER beaten RVD. RVD slides Jeff to the center of the ropes as Jeff is still straddling them! Van Dam nails him with a round kick and then follows up with the Flying Side Kick off the top! Hardy crashes down to the floor! Jeff rolls back into the ring and RVD hits him with a Corkscrew Leg Drop and then the Rolling Splash! 1...2...NO Jeff still kicks out! RVD picks Jeff up but Jeff backs RVD into the corner and lays into him with right hands and goes for the Hardyac Arrest (rope aided corner dropkick) but Van Dam moves and Hardy eats the turnbuckles! RVD hit's the Split Legged Moonsault! 1...2...NO Jeff kicks out yet again! RVD can't believe that Jeff kicked out again and then as Jeff starts to gets to his feet RVD lays into him with kicks. RVD goes for a Suplex but Jeff blocks it and then hit's a Sitout Front Suplex of his own! Jeff climbs to the top but RVD hit's a sickening Spinning Heel Kick to the head of Hardy! RVD climbs up with Hardy and goes for a Superplex but Hardy blocks it and pushes RVD off the top! Swanton Bomb! NO RVD MOVES! RVD up top and he hits it! 5 Star Frog Splash! 1...2...3 and Van Dam is the #1 contender! What a match!

Team Hogan (Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Hardy & Rob Van Dam) vs. Team Flair (Sting, Desmond Wolfe & Beer Money)

We start first with Abyss (Team Hogan) and Robert Roode (Team Flair). Lots of brawling between the two early on. Abyss is able to get Roode down in the corner hitting a few right hands and chokes Roode with his boot. Abyss with a high back body drop on Roode as the clock continues to count down. Roode fights back and tries to drive Abyss' head into the side of the cage. Roode rakes the eyes of Abyss and Taz jokes, "I wonder how a guy wearing a mask can get his eyes raked?" Tenay says, "Well, through the holes." Taz laughs. Abyss with more shots on Roode sending him face first into the side of the steel cage. Roode catches Abyss in the corner with a big boot and then follows it up with a blockbuster neckbreaker. Roode starts to hit Abyss with some boots to the chest in the corner.

Time expires. Out next is Rob Van Dam for Team Hogan. The clock restarts and counts down from 2:00 minutes now. RVD hits the ring and catches Roode with a big side kick to the head. RVD with right hands to Roode in the corner that he follows up with a big side kick. RVD with a big monkey flip on Roode. RVD with Rolling Thunder over Roode. RVD grabs Roode and then tosses him face first into the steel cage.

Time expires. Out next is Desmond Wolfe for Team Flair. Wolfe hits RVD with a big dropkick to the back and then sends RVD face first into the steel cage. Roode and Abyss are exchanging right hands. Wolfe and Roode double team RVD hitting a double elbow.

Time expires. Out next is Jeff Jarrett for Team Hogan. Jarrett hits the ring and lights up Roode and Wolfe with some big right hands. Jarrett also sends both face first into the side of the steel cage.

Time expires. Out next is James Storm for Team Flair. Storm hits the ring and gets in some big right hands on Jarrett and tosses a busted open RVD into the side of the cage.

Time expires. Scheduled to be out next is Jeff Hardy, the final entrant for Team Hogan. Backstage, we see a shot of a knocked out Jeff Hardy. Sting is standing over him and walks away. Back in the arena, Storm is dragging the bloody face of RVD across the steel cage fencing.

Time expires. Out next is Sting, the final entrance for Team Flair. Sting enters the ring with his baseball bat in hand. Sting drives the bat into Abyss, Jarrett and RVD. Sting points up and calls for the top of the cage to be lowered to officially begin the Lethal Lockdown match.

The top of the steel cage lowers with the weapons hanging from it. Wolfe hits RVD with a cookie sheet, while Storm hits Jarrett with a trash can. Storm grabs a steel pipe and hits a trash can that was propped up against the body of RVD. Storm uses the pipe on Jarrett getting in a shot to the ribs. Roode lights up Abyss with a series of shots using a trash can lid. Jarrett fights back hitting members of Team Flair with a trash can. Sting breaks that up using his baseball bat. Beer Money with a double suplex on Jarrett. Roode drives Jarrett through the cage door to the outside. Both members of Beer Money leave the ring and go after Jarrett. Abyss grabs a black back and dumps it out across the mat revealing thumbtacks. Abyss rips off Sting's leather jacket and teases he is doing to chokeslam Sting on the tacks. Wolfe breaks it up and Storm smashes a beer bottle over the head of Abyss. Team Flair stands tall in the ring when Jeff Hardy's music hits. Hardy runs down with a kendo stick in hand. Hardy takes out Beer Money with numerous shots using the kendo stick.

In the ring, Jarrett with a guitar shot on Wolfe. RVD is up top and hits a Five Star on Wolfe. Sting tries to throw Abyss on the tacks. Abyss stays on his feet and grabs Sting connecting with a chokeslam over the tacks! Sting sits up and screams out in pain. Hardy is still on the outside, starts climbing up the cage and gets to the top. Hardy points down to Beer Money and challenges them to come up top. Storm and Roode climb up. Hardy has his kendo stick in hand and hits both Roode and Storm with it along with a trash can lid as they climb up. A table and ladder is already up top and Beer Money start to set it up after beating down Hardy. Hardy fights back hitting both with the kendo stick. Hardy with a TWist of Fate on Roode at the top of the cage. Hardy puts Storm on top of the table. Hardy grabs the ladder, sets it up, climbs to the top, jumps off and crashes over Storm through the table! Ric Flair's music hits and he runs down the ramp and gets inside the ring. Flair starts beating down Abyss in the corner. Flair is trying to take the Hall of Fame ring off the finger of Abyss.

Hulk Hogan's music hits. Hogan gets in the ring and is staring down Flair. Hogan grabs Sting's baseball bat and tells Flair to get out. Eric Bischoff runs down and is in the ring. Bischoff tells Hogan to back off. Bischoff yells at Hogan saying he promised and wants Hogan to give him the bat. Bischoff then backs up, pulls out some brass knucks and tosses them to Hogan. Hogan puts on the brass knucks and punches Flair in the face. Flair is busted open right away. Hogan tosses Flair into the side of the cage. Flair takes his shirt off, tries to "hulk up" and takes another shot from Hogan. Flair then falls back first into the tacks! Hogan then lights up Flair with shots to the head using a trash can. Abyss then grabs Wolfe and connects with a Black Hole Slam. Abyss covers Wolfe and gets the pinfall for Team Hogan.

Roode and Hardy lockup and Roode forces Hardy into the corner. The referee separates them and Hardy slaps Roode! Mike Tenay reveals that the opening match at Lockdown will be RVD vs. James Storm and the winner of that match will win the numbers advantage for Lethal Lockdown for his team (meaning that if RVD wins then the first 2-on-1 advantage would go to Team Hogan and so on). Roode locks Hardy in a side headlock but Hardy shoves him into the ropes only to eat a shoulderblock. Roode comes off the ropes but eats a hip toss from Hardy. Roode gets to his feet and shoves Hardy and then Hardy slaps him again! Hardy follows up with an arm drag and locks in an armbar. Roode gets to his feet and shoves Hardy into the ropes but Hardy hits a shoulder block of his own. Hardy comes off the ropes and Roode goes for a dropkick, but Hardy avoids it by holding onto the ropes. Hardy then does his Double Legdrop to the groin and follows up with a sliding dropkick for a nearfall. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate but Roode blocks it and rolls out to the floor. Roode grabs Hardy by the feet and drags him to the outside. Roode slams Hardy into the apron and then whips him into the steps. Roode tosses Hardy back into the ring and puts the boots to him. Roode picks Hardy up and hits a Scoop Slam and then climbs to the middle rope and hits a Flying Knee Drop! 1...2...NO Hardy kicks out! Roode hits another Knee Drop and then locks in a Rear Chinlock. Hardy fights to his feet and breaks the hold with a Jawbreaker! Hardy comes off the ropes and Roode goes for a backdrop, but Hardy lands on his feet and then hits the Mule Kick. Both men are down now as the referee puts in the 10 count. Roode gets to his feet first and the two trade right hands until Roode kicks Hardy and then attempts to whip him into the ropes, but Hardy reverses it and then hits a clothesline! Hardy follows it up with another clothesline and then a back elbow. Hardy then hits the Sitout Front Suplex! Hardy attempts to whip Roode into the corner but Roode reverses it only to see Hardy quickly climb the ropes and hit the Whisper In The Wind out of nowhere! 1...2...NO Roode kicks out! Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate again but Roode shoves him into the ropes and connects with the Spinebuster! 1...2...NO Hardy kicks out! Roode goes for the Payoff but Hardy blocks it and hits a Stunner! Jeff climbs to the top and goes for the Swanton but James Storm climbs up on the apron. Jeff knocks Storm off but it allowed Roode to climb up to the top with Hardy! Hardy shoves Roode back off and hits the Swanton Bomb! 1...2...3!

Winner: Hardy via pinfall (Swanton Bomb)

After the match Storm pulls Hardy out of the ring and slams him into the guardrail and then the ring post. Storm rolls Hardy back in the ring and climbs in with the beer bottle. Storm blows a fireball into Hardy's face and I think Spike censored it (that was lame). RVD hits the ring and starts throwing right hands and kicks at Storm until Roode comes in and makes the save for Storm. Roode hits a clothesline on RVD and then Beer Money hits the DWI on him!

Hulk Hogan's music hits and he leads Jeff Jarrett & Abyss out to the ring. Taz says that Eric Bischoff is not here tonight for unknown reasons. Hogan grabs the microphone and says they have some 'horse power' behind Team Hogan. Hogan says Ric Flair has shown his true colors over and over and if he wants to be a 'big dog' in TNA he has to beat Team Hogan. Abyss says that Flair may be a legend but he promises that Flair has never dealt with the likes of this "blood thirsty, 6'8" 350+ plus pound, weapon of mass destruction!" Abyss says at Lockdown in the Letha Lockdown when they lower the top of that cage and lock them in like a bunch of caged animal with weapons all around will Team Flair truly realize the definition of pain & suffering! Abyss says it makes no difference who the other three members of Team Flair are because at Lockdown Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, and the rest of Team Hogan will kick Team Flair's a**! Ric Flair's music hits and it looks like Naitch is none too happy as Chelsea rolls him out onto the stage. Desmond Wolfe, Sting, & Beer Money then walk out of the tunnel behind Flair! A huge "Hogan" chant has started. Flair says he is about to speak and tells the fans to shutup. Flair makes fun of Abyss and Jarrett being Hogan's team and then says to look at his. Flair puts over Desmond Wolfe and then calls Beer Money his "bad a** cowboys" and then calls Sting a wrestling icon. Flair says there is more history Sting and he then there is in the entire wrestling world (FACT). Another "Hogan" chant starts and again Flair gets pissed about it. Flair asks Chelsea to come into view and then screams "WOOOO". Flair says he has his Hall of Fame ring on because he IS the Hall of Fame and then says in St. Louis at Lockdown he'll shove his Hall of Fame ring down Abyss' throat! Hogan tells Flair to shut up and then says he sees what Flair has up on the stage. Hogan tells Flair not to ever sell him short because they have a full team and Flair will find out who the rest of Team Hogan is when the time is right. Flair says this isn't a political contest, it's a popularity contest and everybody wants to be the "Nature Boy". Flair says if Hogan has a problem Team Flair will walk down there and see what Hogan's team is all about. Flair then says "don't' say it, play it!" Team Flair walks down to the ring (and Flair rolls) but Jeff Jarrett tells them to hold on. Jarrett asks Sting to step into the ring without his bat and answer just one question. Sting agrees and hands his bat to Wolfe and says something to him before stepping into the ring. Jarrett says he has known Sting for over 20 years and they have a storied history together in TNA so he just has one question to ask him, "why now has the dark side comeo out of you?" Jarrett tries to hand Sting the microphone but he refuses it. Jarrett says he might not deserve an answer but the fans do. Sting just laughs at Jarrett which causes him to slap the hell out of Sting! Sting kicks Jarrett and hits the Stinger Death Drop! Sting avoids Hogan and Abyss' attempted attack and slides out to the floor. Flair tells his team to 'go get em' and Wolfe jumps into the ring with the bat and nails Abyss with it! Beer Money then come into the ring and they along with Wolfe surround Hogan when Jeff Hardy's music hits! Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam sneak down through the crowd! They come into the ring and the fight is on! RVD and Hardy fight off Beer Money and then Abyss nails Wolfe with a Big Boot! Team Hogan has been revealed and Rob Van Dam vs. James Storm is next!

"The Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam vs. "Cowboy" James Storm

Back from commercials Storm whips RVD into the corner and charges at him but RVD floats up and over Storm. RVD hits a big spinning heel kick and then whips Storm into the opposite corner. RVD follows up with the Monkey Flip! RVD covers Storm and gets a nearfall. RVD throws a few forearms at Storm and then attempts to whip him into the corner again, but this time Storm reverses it and charges. RVD backdrops Storm over the top rope but Storm lands on the apron. Storm goes for a right hand but RVD ducks and then hits a springboard Sidekick that sends Storm crashing to the floor! RVD follows up with a sliding dropkick attempt but Storm catches him and slams RVD by his feet headfirst into the guardrail! Storm rolls back into the ring and goes to drag RVD back in but RVD hits a shoulderblock through the ropes. RVD goes for another one but this time Storm avoids it and kicks RVD in the head! Storm grabs RVD and hits a Hanging DDT with RVD's feet hung up in the ropes! 1...2...NO RVD kicks out! Storm hits a Vertical Suplex and then does the "Beer....Money" taunt as the fans boo him. Storm gets another nearfall and then immediately locks RVD in a rear chinlock. RVD fights to his feet and hits a series of back elbows and then comes off the ropes. Storm goes for a knee lift but RVD side steps it, grabs Storm's leg, and rolls him up! 1...2...NO Storm kicks out! Storm goes for a kick but RVD catches his foot and hits the Step-over Heel Kick! Both men are down and they both get to their feet at the count of 8 by the referee. They greet each other with big right hands exchaning punches, but RVD gets the better of it and connects with a Spinning Back Kick! RVD hits a Running Clothesline and follows up with the Rolling Thunder! 1...2...NO Storm kicks out! RVD picks Storm up but Storm connects with an Enziguri out of nowhere! Storm follows it up with the Eye of the Storm! 1...2...NO RVD kicks out! Storm attempts to whip RVD in the corner but RVD reverses it and charges at him, but Storm hits a big back elbow. Storm tries to slam RVD's head into the top turnbuckle but RVD blocks it with his foot and then kicks Storm in the head with the same foot! RVD hits a Front Slam and then hits the Split Legged Moonsault! 1...2...3 and RVD gets the win!

Winner: RVD via pinfall (Split Legged Moonsault)

After the match Storm blasts RVD with his beer bottle! The referee calls out for help and EMT's come out and check on RVD. Storm tries to get back on RVD but security pulls him off.

Back from commercials Storm is taunted RVD as EMT's help him. Jeff Hardy runs out and attacks Storm! Hardy then checks on RVD as Robert Roode sneaks in through the crowd and hits a Spinebuster on Hardy! Beer Money has taken out half of Team Hogan already tonight!

Jeff Hardy wears some of the weirdest damn facepaint. The Band wait at the door and as Young was coming to the cage Pac kicked the cage into EY's face! The Band then atack the face's on the ramp. Syxx nails RVD with a spinning heel kick on the ramp! Nash drags Hardy into the cage and beats on him as Hall and Pac toss RVD into the cage and close the door and lock it as EY is still out on the floor! RVD is coming back on Nash with forearms and kicks but eats a knee to the gut. Hardy slams Hall into the corner and puts the boots to him until Pac comes over and starts choking him wtih a t-shirt as Hall tosses RVD into the cage wall. RVD hits a Spinning Back Kick on Hardy and then follows up with the Bronco Buster! Nice camera view from the top of the cage. Pac lights Hardy up with a chop and RVD is kicking the hell out of Nash with roundhouse kicks and leaping side kicks. Finally Hall comes over to make the save for Nash. Pac whips Hardy into the ropes and goes for a Hurricanrana but Hardy counters into a Powerbomb! RVD is coming back and hits a Rolling Thunder on Pac as Hardy held him and then Hardy hits a Leg Drop to the groin on Pac! Hardy then hits a Sliding Dropkick to Pac! Hall and Nash come over and go back on the attack on RVD & Hardy. Nash attempts to whip Hardy into RVD but RVD was able to drop to his knees and Hardy leaps off RVD's back into the Poetry In Motion on Hall! RVD dropkicks the knee of Nash and then hits a Swinging Neckbreaker on Nash! EY is now climbing up the cage! Syxx-Pac climbs up and tries to cut him off until RVD comes up and throws Pac off the top! RVD perches at the top of one corner as Hardy climbs to another and EY is up on top of the cage!
