Start of Show
Eric Bischoff's music hits and "Easy-E" makes his way out to the ring accompanied by the unbelievably gorgeous Ms. Tessmacher (formerly Brooke from the Extreme Expose in WWE's version of ECW). Ms. Tessmacher sure fills out that skirt, okay I'll stop. Bischoff has a sheet with him and is standing in front of some billboard type pictures in the ring with "Top 10 Contenders" on it. He says tonight he will reveal what we've all been waiting for, the Top 10 Heavyweight Contenders Rankings. Bischoff says the TNA Championship Committee comprised of Hulk Hogan, Dixie Carter, and Bischoff himself used three basic critera to comprise the Rankings. 1st, fan voting on TNAWrestling.com. 2nd, career and championship records. 3rd, win-loss records in TNA. In the back we see Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter watching on a monitor with other TNA Officials. Bischoff reveals the 10th Ranked Heavyweight: SAMOA JOE!

Joe walks out wearing a suit and then a quick video package hyping up Joe are shown. #9 is "The Freak" ROB TERRY (boy that's a slap in the face to Joe). Terry limps out (selling his knee injury) and then a video package hyping him is shown. #8 is none other than DESMOND WOLFE. #7 is "THE POPE" D'ANGELO DINERO (who Bischoff says is one of Ms. Tessmacher's favorites) and Pope makes his way out fresh off of shoulder surgery. Word is he COULD (not guarnteed) be back by Slammiversary. His video package mentions that "many say it's only a matter of time before this gifted athlete wins his first World Championship". #6 is ABYSS, all of the guys are lining up on the stage as they come out and of course Abyss is the only one so far that isn't wearing a suit. #5 is none other than Mr. Anderson! He gets a pretty good pop from the crowd. #4 is JEFF HARDY, oh yeah he got a big pop. #3 is former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, "The Phenomenal" AJ STYLES! #2 is none other than the returning "Olympic Hero" KURT ANGLE! Kurt doesn't come through the tunnel for some reason and Bischoff seems to be surprised by this. A "We Want Angle!" chant starts up now. The top ranked contender and the man who will face Rob Van Dam at Slammiversary for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship (that means no King of the Mountain?!): STING!

Sting's music hits and the "Icon" walks out to the ring bypassing the other contenders on the stage. Tenay says that Jeff Jarrett has suffered a partially torn Rotator Cuff due to Sting's attack at Sacrifice. As Sting gets in the ring the fans chant "we want a recount" at him. Bischoff congratulates Sting on being named the #1 Contender and wishes him luck in his match against RVD at Slammiversary. Bischoff says tonight Sting will have an opportunity to prove that he will be a fighting #1 Contender because tonight Sting will be facing Jeff Hardy one-on-one in the Main Event! Sting grabs the microphone and asks Bischoff if he really thinks he won't do the same thing to Hardy that he did to Jarrett. Sting says that Bischoff, Hogan, and Dixie wanted 'change' and then Sting nails those signs in the ring with his bat and says "that's change right there." Sting says he thinks Bischoff needs to change the way he walks and then hits Bischoff in the gut with the bat and then nails him in the knee with it! Hogan and Dixie are watching in the back and Hogan says "I gotta go" and walks off. In the ring Abyss hit's the ring but eats a hardy meal of bat for his troubles courtesy of the Stinger. Sting knocks Abyss out of the ring and then Jeff Hardy sneaks in behind Sting and snatches the bat from him. Jeff dares Sting to try him now while Pope & Terry check on Bischoff on the outside. Jeff tosses the bat down and then pulls of his shirt and dares Sting to come fight him now! Sting gets in Hardy's face and Hardy slaps him! Sting answers with a kick to the balls! Sting picks up the bat and Rob Van Dam's music hits!

RVD walks out (the heels are just watching on the stage) and distracts Sting allowing Hardy to chop block Sting's knee! Jeff then hits Sting with a Reverse Twist of Fate! Hardy climbs to the top for the Swanton Bomb but Sting rolls out of the ring and bails out. RVD goes into the ring and checks on Jeff.

Main Event
"The Icon" Sting vs. "Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy

Yes, this is yet another first time ever matchup being aired on free TV. There is about 10 minutes left in the show so don't bet on a classic here. Sting and Jeff circle each other and then they lockup. Sting forces Hardy into the corner where the referee breaks them up. Sting then nails Hardy with a back chop and then a back elbow. Jeff comes back with a series of back hands and then a mule kick! Jeff with a clothesline and Sting rolls out of the ring. Sting stalls at ringside so Jeff nails him with a Sliding Dropkick through the ropes! Jeff then attempts a Slingshot Cross Body over the top but Sting rolled back into the ring so Jeff crashes into the floor. Sting rolls back out and tosses Jeff onto the ramp and slams Jeff's leg against the ramp. Sting grabs Jeff by the leg and slams his leg into the ramp again and then taunts him. Sting throws Jeff back into the ring and puts the boots to him. Sting rakes the eyes of Jeff and then kicks him in the knee. Sting stomps on the knee and then rakes his eyes again in the corner. Sting follows up with the Stinger Splash and then he goes for a second one but Jeff moves out of the way and connects with a clothesline. Jeff follows up with an Atomic Drop followed by the Leg Drop to Sting's groin. Jeff with a Sliding Dropkick for a near fall. Jeff throws Sting into the corner and then he goes for the Whisper In The Wind but Sting moves out of the way! Sting immediately locks Jeff in the Scorpion Death Drop! Jeff fights the hold and is able to get to the ropes and break the hold. Sting grabs Jeff by the leg and pulls him back to the center of the ring. The referee was checking on Jeff and when Sting pulled Jeff it knocked the referee out of the ring. Sting grabs Jeff and goes for the Scorpion Death Drop but Mr. Anderson comes out of nowhere and hits Sting with a Scorpion Death Drop of his own! Jeff covers Sting and Slick Johnson rolls back into the ring, 1...2...3!

Winner: Jeff Hardy via pinfall

After the match Mr. Anderson raises Jeff's arm and then claps for him. Jeff shoves Anderson asks him what the hell he's doing. Anderson calls for his microphone to be lowered down but Sting nails him the bat from behind! Sting blasts Hardy with it and then blasts Anderson again! Sting goes back and forth between them hitting them with the bat!

Mr. Anderson goes after Jeff Hardy right away dropping him with a series of right hands and stomps. Hardy attempts a cross body and Anderson moves as Hardy rolls to the outside. Back in the ring, Hardy fights back with right hands to Anderson and a clothesline in the corner. Anderson counters a dropkick to the chest in the corner by getting his boot up on Hardy. Anderson drives his knees into the ribs of Hardy. Anderson with kicks to the face on Hardy and forearms to the back. Anderson then locks on a modified abdominal stretch on Hardy. Hardy attempts a comeback hitting the ropes, but Anderson caught him with a big knee to the gut. Anderson misses a shot from the top turnbuckle, but dodges boots to the face and drops a quick elbow to the chest. Anderson with another abdominal stretch applied on Hardy. Anderson crotches Hardy on the top rope - or as Taz called it, "Hardy landed right on the yam bag!" Hardy responds sending Anderson over the top rope with a high back body drop with Anderson landing right on the entrance ramp.

Hardy grabs a steel chair and sets it up near Anderson on the ramp. Hardy with a jumping leg lariat off the steel chair onto Anderson sending both back inside the ring. Hardy grabs his elbow in pain. Hardy and Anderson begin exchanging right hands. Hardy gets the better of it and levels Anderson with a big clothesline takedown. Anderson with a rolling senton splash on Hardy for a close two count. Anderson with a Mic Check on Hardy, cover and Hardy gets his boot on the bottom rope to break up the pinfall. Anderson pulls Hardy away from the ropes and covers him again. Hardy kicks out after two. Hardy with a dropkick that drills Anderson in the chest and follows with a front suplex. Hardy then goes up top, but jumps down when he sees Anderson recovering. Hardy with a Twist of Fate on Anderson. Hardy goes back up top again and Anderson gets up and crotches him on the top turnbuckle. Anderson puts Hardy on his shoulders up top, Hardy hits right hands to the face and Anderson falls over landing face first on the mat below as Hardy goes down with him.

Hardy is back up top and connects with the Swanton Bomb. Hardy hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

After the match, Jeff Hardy stays on the mat and takes in the win as he slowly starts to recover. Mr. Anderson gets to his feet and stares down Hardy. Anderson has a clinched fist, but opens it in a handshake towards Hardy. Hardy declines and heads up the ramp.

This WILL be a Non-Title Match. There's about 30 minutes left in the show so hopefully we get a lengthy match here. AJ is so damn awesome he was talking trash with a fan at ringside and I mean literally he got nose-to-nose with the guy and dared him to hit him. Classic heel stuff rom AJ. Taz says, "that guy might want to get back to stocking shelves at the super market." AJ flicked sweat at the guy before he left ringside. All 3 guys circle each other and then RVD & Jeff talk and point at AJ. AJ realizing that he is outnumbered her strikes first with chops and right hands on both Jeff & RVD. AJ goes for a kick on RVD but RVD catches his foot and then spins AJ around right into a nasty spinning heel kick from RVD right on the button. Jeff then hit's a clothesline on AJ as he gets to his feet. RVD and Jeff grab AJ and whip him into the ropes and hit a Double Hiptoss. Jeff picks AJ up and hit's a Scoop Slam and then RVD hit's a Corkscrew Leg Drop! Jeff covers AJ, 1...2...nope RVD pulls him off. RVD and Jeff laugh it off this time and then Jeff tries to kick RVD! RVD grabs his foot but Jeff Mule Kicks him with the other one! RVD rolls out to the floor and then Jeff turns his attention back to AJ. AJ comes back on Jeff with chops and then he attempts to whip Jeff into the ropes, but Jeff reverses it and hit's a backdrop. 1...2...NO AJ kicks out! RVD back in the ring now and nails Jeff with a kick and then a Superkick! RVD follows up with a Spinning Back Kick sending AJ into the corner and then he pulls AJ out of the corner and hits him with another Spinning Back Kick. RVD picks Jeff up and hit's a Vertical Suplex! RVD then grabs AJ and hit's a Vertical Suplex on him and floats over into a lateral press. 1...2...NO Jeff breaks it up! Jeff grabs RVD and hit's a Sitout Front Suplex and then he grabs AJ and hits him with a Sitout Front Suplex! Jeff grabs RVD and hit's a Diamond Cutter! Jeff grabs AJ and hit's a Hangman's Neckbrearker! Jeff covers RVD and gets a near fall before AJ pulled him off. AJ puts the boots to Jeff and then nails RVD with right hands and forearms. AJ whips Jeff into the corner and then catches one of RVD's legs as RVD went for a kick and hit's a Dragonscrew Legwhip. RVD hit's a Corner Splash on Jeff in the corner and then whips RVD into the corner. RVD goes for a Floatover thinking AJ would charge in but AJ did not and then he chop blocks the back of RVD's knees. AJ grabs that leg and pulls him to the center of the ring and locks in the Figure Four! Jeff breaks it up with a Leg Drop on AJ. Jeff climbs to the top but AJ is able to get to his feet and knock Jeff off the top down to the floor! RVD then comes out of nowhere with a nasty Monkey Flip! On the outside Mr. Anderson comes out of nowhere and clotheslines Jeff! RVD is perched on the top rope and goes for the Flying Back Kick but AJ pulls the referee into it! RVD looks out and sees Anderson. RVD comes over and makes the save for Hardy kicking Anderson in the head and then he throws Anderson into the guardrail. AJ comes out of nowhere with a Somersault Plancha over the top onto Anderson, Hardy, & RVD! AJ then grabs RVD and DDTs him on the floor! AJ grabs RVD and rolls him back into the ring and covers him! AJ uses the ropes for leverage, 1...2...3!

Winner: Styles via pinfall (DDT on the floor)

AJ talks trash to the camera after the match as he walks off and Van Dam recovers in the ring. Anderson mockingly says "I'm so sorry" from the ramp. Jeff Hardy asks someone at ringside for a microphone. Hardy calls Anderson a "circus clown without the makeup" and then tells him to get to the ring right now so they can 'do this.' Anderson starts to come to the ring but stops and turns around. Hulk Hogan's music hits and Hogan walks out! Hogan won't let Anderson go back down the ramp. He mocks Anderson and then Anderson swings at Hogan but Hogan blocks it and then nails Anderson with a big right hand. Anderson turns around right into a right from a charging Jeff Hardy! Hardy tosses Anderson off the ramp into the guardrail!

Hardy Case Update Moved until June

Case continued to June…

According to ProWrestling.net, Jeff Hardy did appear in court today. As of now there are not too many details, but it is known that the court case has been continued to June 3rd. The good news for TNA is that Hardy will be able to attend the Sacrifice PPV Sunday.

TNA'S JEFF HARDY COMING TO LEGENDS OF THE RING THIS SATURDAY

TNA Wrestling's "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy and "Prince of Punk" Shannon Moore have just been added to the Legends of the Ring Pro Wrestling Fanfest this Saturday, May 15 in New Jersey. They will be signing autographs and taking pictures from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

The location of the appearance will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel: Monroe-South Brunswick, 390 Forsgate Drive, Jamesburg, NJ 08831.

Pricing will be as follows: For $50, will receive a 16x20 commemorative Jeff Hardy poster, Shannon Moore TNA 8x10 promo, and get them signed! Additional autographs or picture opportunities are available for $20 each. Official TNA 8x10 promo photos will be sold for $5 each. Commemorative 16x20 posters of Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter will also be sold at the TNA stand.

They join several other TNA Wrestling personalities including TNA President Dixie Carter, TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett, "The War Machine" Rhino, Earl Hebner, and more as guests at this huge event.

There is something going on backstage and we cut to someone in what looks like a Catholic robe or something and beating on The Pope! We see it's Mr. Anderson as he low blows Pope! Anderson then grabs a big equipment case and rolls it into Pope repeatedly while asking where's the 'tough guy.' Anderson stands over Pope and sarcastically says "look what I've done" and then turns around and puts Pope's shades on.

--------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK--------------------------

Back from commercials Mr. Anderson's music hits and he comes out still wearing that robe. Anderson brings the mic down from the ceiling but instead of doing his usual intro he starts talking like a crazy over-the-top preacher (mocking Pope). Anderson tells the people not to judge him because of his beautiful attire and then says he stands in front of his congregation at a loss for words as a big "you suck" chant starts. Anderson says "forgive them father for they know not what they speak". He says he had a tremendous sermon prepared for this evening but on his way to the ring he had an epiphany and that epiphany was....he stops as the fans are chanting at him again and chanting "we want Pope" as well. Anderson says Pope won't be joining us today and then he says he realized as he came to the ring that he won't be going to heaven, but will in fact burn in hell. Jeff Hardy's music hits!

Jeff makes his way out to the ring as Anderson looks on surprised at Jeff coming out. Jeff says his creatures of the night and the 'congregation' are one in the same. Jeff freaks me out. Jeff says because of Anderson Jeff's good friend The Pope won't be cleared for Sacrifice (he just had surgery). Anderson mockingly says he feels so horrible about that. Jeff calls Anderson a clown and then says he needs a match at Sacrifice and challenges Anderson! Anderson asks Hardy if he's really challenging him and Jeff says yep. Anderson asks Jeff if he doubts that Anderson would accept but Anderson then says "naw" because he has something going on that night. The fans chant for Anderson to "take the dress off." Anderson says he's grown tired of Jeff and all the sinners out there tonight. He starts to walk away but then turns around and swings the microphone at Jeff, but Jeff ducks and hit's the Twist of Fate! Jeff then strips the robe off of Anderson and the dude is wearing bikini briefs. They say "Talk Into" on the back, oh my lord. Jeff says "those panties are SWEET!" and Jeff has for the first time in his life made me laugh! Jeff rolls Anderson over and asks Anderson again if he'll wrestle him at Sacrifice! Jeff then impersonates Anderson's voice accepting the challenge and then tells Anderson "welcome to hell!" As Jeff was walking up the ramp Anderson comes to and realizes that he's pretty much naked.
