TNA World Championship #1 Contenders Triple Threat Match
Mr. Anderson vs. "Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy vs. "The Monster" Abyss

Winner of this match faces RVD next month at Victory Road for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Abyss reaches at Jeff as the bell rings but he backs away and Anderson throws a few leg kicks at Abyss. Jeff and Anderson take turns throwing right hands and kicks at Abyss. They whip Abyss into the corner and then Anderson drops down to all fours and Hardy goes for Poetry In Motion off of Anderson's back but Abyss catches him in midair! Anderson kicks Abyss and he drops Hardy. Hardy & Anderson then whip Abyss into the ropes and they hit him with Double Back Elbows. Abyss shrugs it off and grabs them both by the throats! Anderson and Hardy kick Abyss in the gut and then they Double Suplex Abyss. Hardy covers Abyss, 1...2... NO Anderson pulls him off and covers Abyss! 1...2...NO Hardy pulls him off now! Anderson and Hardy come face to face but then they both turn around and eat a nasty Spear from out of nowhere from Abyss! Abyss chokes Anderson in the corner as we see another shot of Dreamer in the crowd. Abyss whips Anderson into the opposite corner and then Abyss grabs Hardy and whips him into another corner. Abyss hits a Splash on Anderson and then goes for one on Hardy but Hardy nails him with aback elbow and then the Whisper In The Wind off the top! Abyss rolls out to the floor and Hardy hits a dropkick through the ropes on Abyss. Hardy gets ready for a dive onto Abyss but Anderson hits a Sliding Dropkick onto Abyss on the floor as it looked like he was going to attack Hardy. Anderson holds Abyss as Hardy hits a Slingshot Plancha over the top onto Abyss on the floor! Anderson then mounts Abyss and throws repeated right hands at him. The bell rings as the referee counts all 3 men out!

Winner: NO CONTEST via TRIPLE COUNTOUT

Hardy and Anderson are pissed but Abyss absolutely freaking snaps! Abyss lays out Anderson and then lays out Hardy with right hands! Abyss chases the referee away and then picks Hardy up and tosses him back into the ring. Abyss tosses Anderson back in as well. Abyss picks Hardy up throws him back out to the floor and then picks Anderson up and hits the Shock Treatment! Abyss goes to the outside and pulls out his bag of either thumbtacks or glass from under the ring and then he pulls out a trashcan full of weapons! Abyss nails Hardy with a kendo stick repeatedly! Abyss kicks the trashcan away and then slides back into the ring with the bag. Abyss dumps the bag out and it's GLASS! Abyss nails Anderson with the Kendo Stick now repeatedly and then he grabs Anderson Black Hole Slams him into the damn glass! that was bare back into shards of glass, my friends! A replay of that is shown over and over. Abyss goes over to Hardy on the ramp but just walks past him. He then stops and looks back at Hardy. Hardy gets o his feet and starts punching away at Abyss but Abyss knees him in the gut repeatedly. Abyss then grabs Hardy and drags him up the ramp and rips Hardy's shirt off and then he Chokeslams Hardy off the freaking ramp through a piece of staging!

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Desmond Wolfe, & Beer Money Inc. vs. "Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson, Jay Lethal, & "The Monster" Abyss w/Chelsea

AJ, Wolfe, & Beer Money were holding up the four fingers as they came to the ring, interesting. Tenay reveals that Monsters Rules will be in affect at Slammiversary in the Wolfe-Abyss match. Lethal and Roode will start the match off here. They lockup and Roode knees Lethal in the gut and then he pokes Lethal in the eyes. Roode lights Lethal up with a Flair Chop and then he whips Lethal into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Lethal ducks and then hits the Back handspring off the ropes into a Back Elbow! Hardy and Abyss nail Roode with right hands from the apron and then Lethal chops him. Lethal tags in Abyss and Roode begs him not to. Abyss nails Roode with a right hand as Lethal holds him. Abyss beats on Roode in the corner and then talks trash to Wolfe. Abyss whips Roode into the opposite corner and goes for a Splash but Roode gets out of the way and tags in Storm. Beer Money beat on Abyss together and then whip Abyss into the ropes and go for a Double Clothesline, but Abyss breaks through it and then goes for a Double Chokeslam! AJ runs in to stop it but eats a Big Boot from Abyss! Beer Money kick Abyss in the gut and then they both hit the ropes only to eat a Double Clothesline from Abyss. Abyss picks Storm up and tags in Anderson. Anderson locks in a wristlock on Storm and the slams his shoulder into Storm and tags in Hardy. Hardy locks in a wristlock of his own and then twists the arm and tags Anderson back in. Hardy holds onto the arm of Storm as Anderson comes off the top with a Flying Axe Handle Drop. Anderson lays Roode out with a right hand and then tags Hardy back in. Hardy climbs to the top and hits a Flying Axe Handle Drop off the top onto Storm's arm as Anderson holds it. Hardy beats on Storm in the corner with right hands and then he hits a Snapmare Takeover for a nearfall. Storm comes back with a poke to the eyes and tags in Wolfe. Wolfe grabs Hardy but Hardy goes for a Jawbreaker only to eat a Knee Strike from Wolfe. Wolfe whips Hardy into the ropes only to eat a knee of Hardy's own. Hardy hits a Snap Suplex and gets another nearfall. AJ comes in and hits Hardy from behind. AJ tags in now and hits a series of Shoulderblocks on Hardy in the corner. AJ taunts the faces and then hits a Scoop Slam. AJ follows up with a Knee Drop and gets a nearfall of his own. AJ locks in a Rear Chinlock but Hardy gets to his feet and tries to break the hold but AJ throws an elbow at him. AJ drops another elbow on the back of Hardy's head and then puts the boots to him and tags in Wolfe. Wolfe grabs Hardy as AJ, Roode, and Storm all put their boots in the corner so Wolfe can throw Hardy's head into them! Pretty unique spot there. Wolfe covers Hardy and gets another nearfall. Wolfe tries to whip Hardy into the boots again but this time Hardy reverses it! Beer Money then starts beating on Hardy before he can try to make a save which causes Lethal to come across the ring and go after the heels! The referee pulls him off and the heels then all take turns beating on Hardy in the corner! Storm in now and he gets another nearfall on Hardy. Roode tags in and Beer Money hit the Beer Money Double Suplex on Hardy! Roode chokes Hardy as the referee holds the faces back again. Roode hits a Knee Drop and gets yet another nearfall on the green haired one. Wolfe throws an elbow at Hardy from the outside as Roode distracted the referee. Roode then catapults Hardy throat-first on the bottom rope! 1...2...NO Jeff kicks out! Storm tags in and they treat Jeff's legs like a wishbone. Jeff is actually able to push Storm into the face corner and tag out but AJ distracted the referee so he didn't see it! AJ comes in (no tag of course) and puts the boots to Jeff. Jeff comes back with a series of strikes but AJ cuts him off with a poke to the eyes. AJ grabs Jeff but Jeff hits a Jawbreaker out of nowhere. Jeff tries to drag himself to the face corner but AJ grabs his leg. Jeff gets to his feet (or foot) and hits the Leaping Mule Kick and then tags in Lethal! Lethal in with a clothesline on AJ and Roode and then he kicks Storm off the apron and dropkicks Wolfe off it! AJ comes from behind and goes for a German Suplex on Lethal but Lethal holds onto the ropes and then hits a Backdrop! Lethal ducks a clothesline and hits a Back Suplex into a Neckbreaker! 1...2...NO Wolfe breaks it up! Wolfe spikes Lethal with a DDT! Anderson in now and hits the Green Bay Plunge on Wolfe! Anderson then walks right into the Last Call from Storm! Hardy comes in and hits the Twist of Fate on Storm! Roode in now and he lifts Hardy up into a gorgeous Spinebuster! Abyss grabs Roode and Chokeslams him! Wolfe comes off the ropes and obliterates Abyss with a Lariat! Wolfe looks down at Chelsea and tells her to give him her chair. She is reluctant but eventually gives it to him. Wolfe turns around and Abyss punches the chair into Wolfe's face! Abyss turns around and AJ comes out of nowhere with the Springboard Flying Forearm! AJ charges at Lethal who was on the apron but Lethal hits him with a Shoulderblock through the ropes. Lethal springboards off the top with a Hurricanran attempt but AJ destroys him with a Powerbomb and then transitions into the Styles Clash! 1...2...3 and the heels get the win!

A video package hyping up Anderson and Hardy's short history together.

In the ring Christy Hemme is standing with a microphone. She welcomes her guest who has a big announcement to make for Slammiversary, Mr. Anderson! Mr. Anderson makes his way out to the ring. Anderson checks out Christy as he gets in the ring and then says he was really looking forward to having a great interview with her tonight but he seems to be distracted at the moment as he stares at Christy's lovely chest. Taz says that's shades of Joe Namath (Roll Tide!) and Anderson keeps staring at Christy's boobs as she pushes his head away every time. Anderson apologizes and Christy turns away so he can't see her chest so Anderson stares at her finer assets (she really does have an awesome...well you know) and she says "really?" Anderson says that doesn't make him a chauvinist or a pig but asks if it makes him an a**hole and Christy says it sure does. Well, then you might as well call me an a**hole, baby! Anderson takes the microphone and says everyone that just called him a a**hole is a hypocrite because they're all just sitting there begging and hoping for a wardrobe malfunction from Christy (yep)! Anderson says so that makes everyone of the fans a**holes too! A big "we are a**holes" chant starts. Anderson says this is going to be a censors nightmare. Anderson gets back to his big announcement and that announcement is that at Slammiversary Beer Money had blanks next to their names for opponents so he stepped up to the plate, but he can't do it by himself. Anderson says it's "just not a party without Jeffrey Nero freakin' Hardy"! Jeff's music hits and the Charismatic Enigma makes his way out to the ring!

Jeff grabs the microphone and then daps it up with Hardy (or as my little cousin says, "gives him knuckles"). Hardy says he knows everyone is asking why he would team with Anderson. Hardy says that Anderson is the funniest a**hole he's ever met and out of all the guys in TNA Anderson is the craziest S.O.B. other than himself. Hardy says all his creatures of the night are inviting to Slammiversary for their party with Beer Money! Anderson says in addition to being an a**hole he is also a cheap a**hole so it's B.Y.O.B. (bring your own beer). Beer Money's music hits! Well, it looks like the Beer is being brought.

Beer Money comes out to the ring, Cowboy with beer bottle in hand. Roode says it's just so cute, TNA's newest "B.F.F.'s", Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson...Anderson. Roode asks Jeff and Anderson what either one of them know about tag team wrestling which Jeff laughs at (yeah dumb question Robbie). Roode says Jeff had a little cup of tea earlier on his career with his brother but let's face it Matt carried Jeff the entire time and they sucked anyway so that doesn't count. Roode says tag team isn't about looking cool or being cool, it's not about being friend in and out of the ring, it's about much more than that. He says it's being like brothers and putting your egos aside and putting the team first. Roode says Jeff and Anderson are a mismatch. He says Jeff is a moron and Anderson is an a**hole. He says they're like oil and water...or Lacey Von Erich and that perverted little midget from last week (I'm still having nightmares about that one). Roode says in all seriousness what makes them think that they can compete with Beer Money at Slammiversary. Anderson says this may be a little off subject but why is Roode's hair always freaking wet (oh my God, that is priceless). Anderson points at Cowboy and asks James why he's always wearing sunglasses. Anderson says the only men that wear sunglasses inside are blind men and jackoffs. Taz says he takes exception to that (I spit out Pepsi right there). Storm mocks Anderson and says he's Mr. Funny man not Mr. Anderson. Storm says he does a little standup comedy act himself and then punches Anderson in the mouth!

Beer Money jumps Hardy & Anderson and the beatdown is on! They brawl all over the ring until security runs out to pull them apart. Tenay says Jeff Hardy will face James Storm one-on-one next and Anderson vs. Roode is later!

Back from commercials Storm and Hardy are still brawling around ringside! Storm attempts to whip Jeff into the guardrail but Jeff reverses it! Jeff throws James into the ring steps now and then Jeff tries to throw James into the ring post. Storm blocks it but eats a clothesline from Jeff as he turns around. Jeff pulls up the mats at ringside and Hip Tosses Storm onto the concrete! Hardy rolls Storm back into the ring and then goes for a Shoulderblock through the ropes but Storm kicks him in the chest and then hits a Hanging DDT as Jeff was tied up in the ropes! 1...2...NO Jeff kicks out! Storm takes off his shirt now and chokes Jeff with it and then he stands on Jeff's head as he's laying over the bottom rope! Storm rolls out to the floor and kicks Jeff in the head as he was still laying across the ropes! 1...2...NO Jeff kicks out again! Storm has Jeff in a Headlock now but Jeff gets to his feet and fights it off with back elbows. Jeff hits the ropes but Storm nails him with a back elbow and then he ducks a clothesline from Jeff and connects with a Gutbuster followed by a Rock Bottom Sideslam. 1...2...NO Jeff kicks out! Storm rolls out to the floor and grabs a chair and throws it into the ring! The referee stops Storm from using it so Storm goes for a Scoop Slam, but Jeff blocks it and then connects with a Jawbreaker! Hardy and Storm exchange right hands now and then Storm comes off the ropes but Jeff nails him with a clothesline followed by another one and then a Back Elbow. Jeff throws Storm into the corner and then sets the chair up and dives off of it with the Poetry In Motion! 1...2...NO Storm kicks out! Jeff goes for the Twist of Fate but Storm blocks it and goes for a clothesline. Jeff ducks it and then hits a Sitout Front Suplex! Jeff climbs to the top but Storm crotches him! Storm nails Jeff with an Uppercut and then climbs up to the top as well and goes for a Frankensteiner, but Hardy blocks it and then hits the Whisper in the Wind! 1...2...NO Storm still kicks out! Hardy grabs Storm by the feet but he holds onto the ropes so the referee pulls Jeff off. This allows Storm to reach out and grab his beer and take a swig of it. Storm shoves the referee away and spits it into Jeff's face! Storm grabs Jeff and hits the Eye of the Storm! 1...2...NO Jeff kicks out still! Storm grabs the chair again and swings it at Hardy but Hardy moves and the chair hits the ropes causing it to snap back and nail Storm in the face! Jeff grabs Storm and hits the Twist of Fate! Jeff climbs to the top and hits the Swanton Bomb! 1...2...3 and Jeff gets the win in an excellent match!

Jeff Hardy comes out with face paint and regular ring gear on. He says hello to the creatures and says he’s out for a simple reason, to “find out what is going on with Mr. Asshole himself” ((Guess you’re allowed to say “Asshole” in TNA, for those of you who were worried.)) Mr. Anderson comes out, also in ring gear and takes Jeff’s microphone. He says multiple variations of Jeff’s name (Jeffy, Jeffro, etc.) He says that he does things like giving assists to maybe confuse people, maybe to confuse Jeff, to confuse the people, or because “I’m an asshole.” Loud cheer and a “We want asshole” chant starts up. He says Jeff has Green Hair, Face Paint, cool tattoos, he mocks his ring dance. He says some people says, and he mocks an old lady voice: “That guy is an asshole.” He point to various people in the audience and says that “He’s an asshole, she’s an asshole, would you like to be an asshole?” He proceeds to spell out “Asshole” while the audience chants on with him. AJ Styles comes out with Ric Flair and the rest of his “team” (Beer Money and Desmond Wolfe.) He says that he just got here and he was told he had a match, so he went to Bischoff and “he said you personally requested this match.” Jeff says that he didn’t request a match with anyone tonight. AJ says he wasn’t talking to Hardy and he was talking about Anderson. He asks Anderson if he knows who he is. That he is “AJ Styles, ‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles, The One.” Anderson says he knows who he is but he wants to let AJ know who he is. He fakes introducing himself before giving Jeff his microphone back and calling for his microphone. He does his routine introduction and his music plays to close out the segment

Desmond Wolfe vs. Jeff Hardy

Kurt Angle is on commentary for the match. Kurt praises Desmond and Taz makes a “Lonely like a wolf” comment, referring to Chelsea’s absence. Surprisingly Kurt Angle stated he’s never faced Jeff Hardy, and would love to. Wolfe starts the match with a right hand to Hardy. Wolfe hits Hardy with Stiff Uppercuts and Angle says he likes Desmond’s ring style. Hardy mule kicks Wolfe, which knocks him to the outside, and Hardy hits a cross body to Wolfe. Jeff throws the Hardy sign for the fans and gets elbowed in the face by Wolfe. repeats his “Lonely like a wolf” comment after Angle mentions that he likes the “Creatures of the Night” name. Hardy’s Twist of Fate attempt was countered into an arm wringer by Desmond and gets a two count. Desmond tries to hit the Tower of London but Hardy avoids it. Hardy gets hit by a running uppercut, but Jeff tries again for the Twist of Fate, which was countered into a Hammerlock DDT and only got a two count.
