Beer Money Inc., Jeff Hardy, & Abyss vs. Motor City Machine Guns (c), Rob Van Dam, & Matt Morgan

The rules are if Beer Money's team wins then Beer Money are the new tag champs. If The Guns team wins then they retain. The bell rings as James Storm attacks RVD. Storm whips RVD into the ropes and tries to kick RVD but RVD catches his foot and spins him around. As Storm spins around RVD levels him with a spinning heel kick. RVD then whips Storm into the ropes and hits another spinning heel kick. RVD kicks Storm again and tags big Matt Morgan into the match. Morgan slaps Storm and then he goes for a Scoop Slam but Storm blocks it and counters into a Code Breaker! Roode tags in and Beer Money whip Morgan into the ropes. They go for a Double Clothesline but Morgan just runs through it and hits a Cross Body Block on both of them! Morgan then hits a clothesline on Roode followed by another one. Morgan follows up with his Back Elbows in the corner and then he goes for a Corner Splash but Roode gets his boot up. Roode then climbs to the middle rope and dives off but Morgan catches him in midair. Morgan hits a Fall Away Slam and tags Sabin in. Sabin hits a Back Kick on Roode and then he hits the ropes but Roode goes for a backdrop only to have Sabin land on his feet. Sabin locks in a Waistlock but Roode reverses it. Sabin then gets to his corner and tags Shelley in. Roode rolls Sabin up but Shelley is legal and he grabs Roode and whips him into the ropes. Shelley hits an Atomic Drop on Roode and then Sabin comes off the ropes with a sliding dropkick to his knees. Shelley then rolls over Roode's back hooking his head as Sabin hits another sliding dropkick this time to Roode's face! Shelley covers Roode and gets a nearfall. Shelley then hits a back kick and goes for Sliced Bread but Roode blocks it. Shelley hits Roode with a back elbow and then climbs up top where Storm crotches him from the apron. Storm tags in and hits a Hanging Neckbreaker out of the corner on Shelley! Storm nails Shelley with a big right hand and tags in Abyss. Abyss beats on Shelley and then taunts Sabin as he headbutts Shelley. Abyss then hits Shelley with a Corner Splash and then tags Hardy in. Hardy hits an Atomic Drop and then a Leg Drop to the crotch of Shelley. Hardy taunts RVD like he's going to let Shelley tag out but then he tosses Shelley back into the Immortal corner and the heels all team up on Shelley. Abyss tags back in and beats on Shelley in the corner more before dropping an elbow on his back and then taunting the faces. Shelley tries to fight back on Abyss but Abyss takes him out with another big shot to the back. Roode tags back in and then hits a Snapmare Takeover followed by a Knee Drop for a nearfall. Storm tags in and they hit the Beer Money Double Suplex. Storm picks Shelley up for the Eye of the Storm but Shelley lands on his feet and hits an Enziguri! Both men are down now! Shelley crawls to his corner as Storm tags Hardy in. Hardy grabs Shelley and drags him back. Hardy hits a Snapmare on Shelley and then locks him in a headlock as Impact goes off the air.

*REACTION BONUS*

Shelley fights to his feet and breaks the hold but Hardy cuts him off with a clubbing blow to the back. Hardy then goes for the Twist of Hate but Shelley blocks it and then crawls under Hardy's legs and tags in RVD! RVD tries to get ahold of Hardy but Hardy quickly runs to his corner and tags Roode back in. Roode and RVD trade right hands and then Roode goes for a clothesline, but RVD ducks and hits a Superkick! RVD knocks Storm and Abyss off the apron and then he hits a Springboard Back Kick on Roode! Storm comes in but eats a forearm from RVD and then RVD nails Abyss with a Spinning Heel Kick as he comes in! Roode tries to kick RVD but RVD catches his foot and hits the Step-over Heel Kick! RVD follows up with Rolling Thunder! 1...2...NO Roode kicks out! Storm is back in and he attacks RVD. Storm whips RVD into the ropes where Sabin blind tags! Storm goes for a backdrop but RVD kicks him in the head. RVD then ducks a clothesline from Roode and Sabin dives off the top with a Springboard Flying Clothesline on Roode! Storm comes out of nowhere and nails Sabin with the 8 Second Ride! Storm then charges at Shelley in the corner but Shelley side steps him and hits an Enziguri to the back of Storm's head! Abyss then nails Shelley with a Big Boot as he turns around! Abyss then catches the Carbon Footprint from Morgan! Hardy comes in and hits the Twist of Hate on Morgan! RVD comes into the ring and eats a Spinebuster out of nowhere by Roode as he charged after Hardy! Roode tosses RVD out of the ring to the floor where Hardy picks him up but before he can do anything Shelley comes from out of nowhere with a Suicide Dive through the ropes onto Hardy! Shelley gets back up on the apron and nails a charging Roode with a BIG shoulder block through the ropes. Shelley then slingshots himself over Roode back into the ring. He then charges at Roode but Roode catches him a Fireman's Carry Slam! Sabin then springboard off the top into a Tornado DDT! 1...2...3!

Winners & STILL Tag Champs: Motor City Machine Guns, Matt Morgan, & Hardy (Guns retain the belts)

After the match RVD chases Hardy up the ramp to the back.

Impact opens up with highlights (and comments from some of the wrestlers) from Final Resolution with the spotlight on the TNA World Title Match. Anderson said that he was going to go on a rampage on Impact.

We then cut to "Earlier Today" in Bischoff's office where Bischoff is talking to Immortal & Fortune. Bischoff says that Hogan has been kept from participating in anything to do with TNA due to Dixie Carter's injunction. Bischoff says that when the judges & lawyers get involved anything can happen which is why going into Genesis they need the gold. He says they need all the titles because they need all the leverage they can get. Bischoff then asks AJ Styles to stand up. He calls AJ "the chosen one" (mockingly) and then says he just lost the Television Title causing them to lose some leverage. Bischoff says, "no more losers." Rhino then walks into the room and asks where his contract that Bischoff offered him is. Bischoff then writes on a piece of paper "NO!" in big letters and says "here's your contract." Bischoff mocks Rhino's "I got a family" thing and says he doesn't need losers. Rhino then tries to attack Bischoff so Immortal beats him down and drags him out.

Immortal's music hits in the arena and Bischoff and Flair lead the troops out to the ring. Bischoff then introduces the World Champion: Jeff Hardy (lots of heat for this). Hardy makes his way out to the ring and makes So Cal Val hold the ring ropes open for him. Bischoff says there is a reason that Hulk Hogan anointed Jeff Hardy as the man to carry the banner for Immortal and a big "Hardy sucks" chant starts as Bischoff screams at the fans to show some respect. Bischoff says that Hardy can only remain great if he is challenged by greatness. He says that Hardy beat a man that was a worthy opponent at Final Resolution and then asks Morgan to come down to the ring.

Matt Morgan comes out with a lead pipe. Bischoff says he knows what Matt's thinking but there is no need for him to have the pipe because nothing is going to happen to him. Bischoff says everyone knows they are under the scrutiny of a federal judge so nothing will happen to him and he has his word. He says that TNA is, from this point forward, about fair play. Morgan says he watched the tape 25 times today of the TNA Title match and with all due respect to Hardy, Morgan COULD have beaten Hardy. He says the reason that Morgan didn't beat Hardy was because he had a "horse shit" referee. He says Anderson cost him that match and if he had a referee that knew anything he might have won. Bischoff says that Morgan did the right thing in stepping up and facing Hardy when Anderson went down and says he deserved the shot so they have decided to sign a match. Matt Morgan vs. Mr. Anderson with the winner getting a shot at the belt!

Jeremy Borash did ring introductions for the challenger Matt Morgan and champion Jeff Hardy.

Lock up and Morgan pushes Hardy away with force sending Hardy through the ropes. Lock up, Hardy takes Morgan's back and Morgan nails Hardy with a big elbow to the head. Hardy with a big kick and forearms to the back of Morgan. Morgan drops Hardy right away with a big shoulder block when Hardy hit the ropes. Morgan grabs Hardy by the neck and tosses him with force over the top rope. Hardy spits in the face of Morgan from the outside as the referee tries to get Morgan to back up. Morgan goes after Hardy. Hardy jumps back in the ring, stops himself from rolling in and Hardy misses an elbow drop. Morgan pulls Hardy out of the ring by his head to the floor. Morgan tosses Hardy back in the ring, hooks the leg and gets a two count. Morgan with a big scoop slam on Hardy, but misses a leg drop. Hardy with a dropkick to the face of Morgan and then drops a leg over his left leg two times. Hardy drops an elbow to the head of Morgan. Hardy works on the left leg of Morgan applying pressure. Hardy then turns that over into a single leg boston crab. Morgan reaches out and eventually gets to the bottom rope to break up the submission. Hardy drags Morgan near the corner and puts his leg up on the bottom rope dropping his body weight over it with force.

Hardy then applies a headlock on Morgan into a sleeper hold. Morgan fights his way to his feet. Hardy kicks out the legs of Morgan and then works over his left arm. Morgan fights back dropping Hardy with a series of clotheslines. Morgan fires himself up with a twisting clothesline, hook of the leg and Hardy kicks out after two. Hardy comes back with a big jumping DDT for a close two count. Hardy drops the leg over the neck of Morgan. Hardy is up top, poses and then flips off the crowd. Hardy jumps, Morgan catches him with a chokeslam and executes a HUGE chokeslam. Cover and Hardy somehow kicks out after two. Hardy low blows Morgan with his boot and then drops Morgan with a Twist of Fate (which Taz called the Twist of Hate - new name perhaps?). Turns out Taz screwed up, but liked the new name based on how Hardy is treating the TNA fans tonight. Cover and Morgan kicks out after two. Morgan fires back dropping Hardy with a huge Carbon Footprint big boot. Morgan covers holding down the shoulders of Hardy, the referee counts and Hardy's leg slightly kicks up after the two count. Morgan is confused feeling he won. Morgan lifts up Hardy and Hardy hits another Twist of Hate (Tenay is going with it and so will we). Another cover and Morgan kicks out.

Hardy misses a body splash in the corner when Morgan moves. Morgan with a big right hand to Hardy and favoring his left knee. Morgan puts Hardy up on the top rope. Hardy catches Morgan with an elbow and then comes flying off with a Whisper in the Wind that connects. Morgan is back up and Hardy hits yet another Twist of Hate. Hardy hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winner and STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Jeff Hardy

After the match, an exhausted Jeff Hardy celebrates with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Hardy takes a knee with his title in hand as members of Fortune and the Immortals come down to the ring. They start spraying champaign on Hardy as confetti fills the Impact Zone. We see a shot of Eric Bischoff smiling as Ric Flair gets in on the celebration along with Fortune and the Immortals. AJ Styles then "ices" Flair in the middle of the ring. The PPV goes off the air with Flair chugging a Smirnoff Ice while Fortune and the Immortals celebrate.
