Matt Hardy Suspended or Given a Vacation by TNA?

About two weeks after posting a YouTube video of him and his brother Jeff Hardy using a taser gun on his girlfriend Reby Sky, TNA Wrestling has given wrestler Matt Hardy a "vacation." Matt posted on his Twitter account that due to injuries, dates, and outside issues, that he will have a few weeks off.

It appears that there's more to the story of Matt Hardy being off of TNA TV than recently reported. A few days ago, Matt commented on his absence from TNA by saying on his Twitter page that he's going to have a few weeks off due to being between dates, having injuries and outside issues. However, more details have surfaced about Matt Hardy that put an interesting 'twist of fate' on his TNA status. According to a Tuesday report by PWInsider.com, Matt was suspended by TNA for showing up late to multiple events.

Matt joins his brother Jeff Hardy on the sidelines of TNA as both Hardy brothers have been officially sent home from the company over the last 3 months. Jeff was sent home in late March due to his substance abuse issues and showing up to a PPV event severely impaired.

Matt Hardy joined TNA in January, 2011 as he made his debut on the Genesis PPV in a match against RVD. Matt seemed to have a renewed passion for this business after a long and ugly separation from the WWE. Despite what their critics say, both Hardy brothers still have a huge fan base and are still very popular in pro-wrestling.

Jeff Hardy court case pushed back yet again

Jeff Hardy court case pushed back yet again

The drug case for TNA superstar Jeff Hardy was continued once again. Hardy, who's currently on hiatus from TNA, had to undergo court ordered evaluation to determine if Jeff needs any drug treatments. On Thursday, ProWrestling.net reported that Hardy's attorneys were in court on Tuesday to defend Jeff against the numerous drug charges. Unfortunately, the court appointed evaluator has yet to complete the entire evaluation process and the case was rescheduled until June 27th.

Beck Carlson was appointed as the evaluator on April 21st and Hardy's previous court appearance. She was supposed to complete the evaluation by June 1st. The continuance was ordered so that Carlson can complete the evaluation and determine what kind of services Hardy might need to deal with his drug issues.

In Sepetember of 2009, Hardy's home was raided by local authorities on an anonymous tip. Hardy was found to have numerous illegal drugs and paraphernalia. He's facing prison time if convicted. The case has been continued about 5 times since the original arrest.
